Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Zero. Short and plain.

Using Zero

You need an account to use the product. Don’t share your login, don’t misuse the service, and don’t try to break it for other users. Keep your account information accurate.

Your content and proposals

Everything you put in your workspace (organization profile, proposals, files) stays yours. You grant us a limited license to process it so we can provide the service (e.g. drafting proposals, matching grants).

You are responsible for reviewing and approving every proposal before submission. Zero drafts; you approve. Funders make the final decision on any award.

Plans, trials, and billing

Every plan includes a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. If you add payment, you’ll be billed at the plan price once the trial ends unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Pro-rated refunds are not issued for partial periods.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Zero to:

  • Submit fraudulent grant applications.
  • Impersonate another organization.
  • Violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Attack, probe, or interfere with our infrastructure.

Service warranty

We work hard to keep Zero up and accurate, but the service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee any grant outcome. We don’t guarantee zero downtime.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Zero isn’t liable for lost grant awards, indirect damages, or consequential loss. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Zero anytime by canceling your plan and deleting your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms in a material way, we’ll email you. Small updates will just show a new date at the top.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
